With a background in business studies on trade fair, congress and event management through eight years of experience in working for Messe Frankfurt, International Trade Fair Organizer in Frankfurt, Altlanta and Mexico, Cindy Schoenrich joined the Gstaad Yacht Club in 2009.
Her mother tongue being German, she is equally fluent in English, French, Spanish and Italian with an extra knowledge in Russian and Portuguese – all needed for her passion in the global yacht club far away from the waters.
She joined the Board of the GYC in 2012 and is responsible for its management since then, including the events, membership, international club relations as well as sponsor acquisition and club partnerships. Her interest in sailing started at the age of 16 and is shared with her passion for classic cars, skiing and golf and the sustainable development of our planet.
Since 2015 she is as well member of the Board of the European Club Managers Association.
Session Description
The goal of this program is to provide solid and actionable ways for each individual to play a part in the solution going forward.
The program focuses on children as the next generation of ambassadors for our planet and the ones positioned to have the greatest impact in making change and finding solutions so that we can live a sustainable future.
