John Kemp is an advisor to golf clubs and leaders aiming to develop the professionalism and sustainability of their businesses. He works with GEO Foundation and Contemporary Club Leadership.
Over 15-years he has worked in variety of capacities in the industry – from Greenkeeper to Club Manager, Golf Course Architect to Business Consultant, and has worked internationally on projects ranging in scale from small rural golf facilities to exclusive private member clubs and professional tour venues.
Passionate about education, John holds a degree in Golf Management from Dornoch College, a Professional Diploma in Golf Course Design from the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, and a Club Management Diploma from the Club Managers Association of Europe.
John is originally from Orkney, now living in North Berwick, he is a volunteer board and committee member for a number of sport organisations and cares deeply about the role we all play as custodians of our clubs and sports.
