Craig is the Golf Courses Manager at Gleneagles overseeing the daily operations of the three championship courses whilst managing a team of 44 greenkeepers. Craig was previously the Director of Golf Course Maintenance for Dubai Golf overseeing The Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and consulting to Almouj Golf Club in Oman. He has been the course superintendent in charge of over 25 events to date including 10 Omega Dubai Desert Classics and most recently the Solheim Cup. He has completed his MDP 1 and 2 and has achieved his Club Management Diploma CMdip.
Craig has 25 years’ experience managing golf courses and their teams including positions in South Africa, Indonesia, Bahrain, UAE and UK. With a passion for culture and change management he brings a unique ability over and above that in Agronomy and has a great insight into what it takes to be an effective leader in various circumstances. He is a well-respected leader the industry and has been invited to talk on his subject at events in Australia, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, Portugal and the Middle East.
