The Club Managers Association of Europe’s (CMAE) in partnership with Dubai Golf, will host three Management Development Programme’s in Dubai on the 12-16 May 2019.
Taking place at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and the Park Hyatt Hotel, the three courses will be MDP part 1 – Club Operations, MDP part 2 – Building & Managing the Club Team and MDP part 3 – Strategy & Leadership.
This is the first time that CMAE have held three courses during one week.
The MDP part 1 course focuses on Club Operations and the 10 core competencies of the modern club manager and sees leading club industry experts deliver education sessions on Management, Leadership, Food and Beverage Operations, Club Governance, Membership Marketing, Facilities Management and all of the statutory compliance required to run a successful club.
The Part 2 course is also a week long and builds on the foundations of Part 1 to focus on strategic and business planning, performance and service standards, and the professional and communicative skills needed to develop every aspect of both my performance and the club.

Part 3 of the programme focuses on Strategy and Leadership is aimed at those managers who wish to learn how to enhance their management style and tap into their leadership potential in order to operate their club at a higher level. MDP 3 also includes the Lumina Leader component whereby delegates will identify areas of underlying strengths, and make personal development plans to improve their performance and relationships in and out of the workplace.
Delegates will benefit from the impressive line up of top class educators on the CMAE’s MDP Pathway including Kevin Fish CCM, Susan Stevenson, Darshan Singh, Bill Sanderson, Michael Braidwood CCM and John Bull.
Congressional Golf Club’s Jeffrey Kreafle will also feature as a special guest presenter.
