The Toro Company has shown its commitment to golf and leisure club managers by renewing its exclusive sponsorship of the Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) for a further three years.

The golf and turf industry stalwart has been the exclusive sponsor of the CMAE, which was formed in 2001, since 2007. But, in recognition of the important contribution club managers make to the golf and leisure sector, this renewed agreement sees Toro’s support continue up until the end of 2015.

CMAE chief executive officer Jerry Kilby says of Toro’s renewed sponsorship: “We’re very pleased to continue our relationship with Toro, with this new agreement seeing them take an even more active role. Club managers are increasingly being asked to make important buying decisions, and so Toro’s exclusive support really highlights the benefits of having a machinery and irrigation adviser on the board. Strong communication links help us better understand the issues from both sides.”

Toro’s Andrew Brown adds: “The CMAE is an important industry organisation that is making great strides forward, so we were delighted to extend our sponsorship deal for another three years. Managers are the lynchpins of a club’s business success and are now having to form a holistic view on crucial buying decisions such as machinery and irrigation, so we’re proud to be sharing our industry expertise. We look forward to working with the CMAE for a further three years.”
