Delegates also took part in a wine tasting session on Monday evening and a seminar by the Scottish Golf Club Managers Association (SGCMA) with guest speaker Bill Sanderson on Wednesday evening, where some of the Scottish CMAE members were also presented with their Club Management Diplomas.
Course Facilitator Kevin Fish CCM said of the course in Stirling, “It was great to see another twelve enthusiastic recruits at Stirling, eager to become better managers, and better serve their members and Committees. In these challenging times for clubs in Scotland, I am sure that club members will feel in safer hands with a trained and ideally qualified Club Manager. We have seen nearly 175 managers go through this programme in Scotland now, and I know that this group is determined to sign up for the next stage of their professional development in Stirling next February. “
MDP part 1 is one of 5 courses on the CMAE’s Management Development Programme designed to help club management professionals excel in their jobs and develop their careers.
