The CMAE European Conference programme is taking shape with more top class presenters confirmed to speak at the the online event this November.

Leading one of six dedicated workshops on the final day of the conference, former Olympic Swimmer David Carry will talk about resilience and how your resilience capacity can be thought of as the amount of energy you can store in your inner battery. By increasing your resilience capacity, you will be better able to maintain long term levels of high performance through periods of challenge and learn skills to optimise self-management for life. This applies to individuals and the environment they create for others.

Bringing the experience of 3 Olympic Games to Track Record, David’s interest in uncovering what it takes for elite performers to win led to a passion for coaching. Using supporting academic research he is driven to support individuals and teams to fulfil their purpose, passion and potential.

Alongside performance scientist, Dr Scott Gardner, David founded Track Record in 2016, through a shared passion of elite performance and a desire to better understand what it takes for individual performers and teams to deliver extraordinary results. Track Record leads programmes in FTSE 100 and growing businesses using the elite sport approach of tracking progress and impact in order to demonstrate enhanced resilience, confidence and performance.

In addition to David, also confirmed to speak at the conference is Hong Kong Golf Club’s Director of Golf Ed Chapman CMDip, who will lead a seminar on governance. In this fascinating and interactive presentation, derived from a 24-week Master’s degree research project, you will learn how governance structures and board composition effect organisational performance; what golf club managers see as the key challenges facing them; and the use, or lack of use, of corporate management practices.

Richard Cudlip, Competitions Secretary at Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club will also present a workshop on Demystifying ‘The Knowledge’. Listen to an active manager talking about “the knowledge” and how that could be utilised. In this workshop Richard will talk about the way a brain can be trained. Specially the case of London Taxis drivers. That training can then be used in your everyday life.

The early bird rate for booking a delegate place at the conference finishes at the end of August, so don’t miss out!
