The Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE) is delighted to announce the Management Development Programme (MDP) on Sport & Recreation, scheduled to take place from 11th to 15th August 2025.
This five-day intensive course is designed for managers seeking a comprehensive understanding of sports, fitness, recreation, and wellness operations. Participants will gain invaluable insights into managing various aspects of the club environment, with a focus on these dynamic and evolving areas.
By the end of the week, attendees will have a thorough understanding of the strategic and operational elements needed to drive success in sport and recreation management. This knowledge will empower them to make informed decisions that benefit their clubs and committees.
Delegates will tour some of London’s top sports facilities during the week including the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Royal Automobile Club, Roehampton Club, Queens Club and Hurlingham Club.
Prior attendance at other MDP courses is not a prerequisite for participating in this programme, making it accessible to a wide range of club management professionals.
“We are thrilled to announce the MDP Sport & Recreation programme,” said CMAE CEO Torbjörn “Toby” Johansson. “This course offers an incredible opportunity to visit world-class venues, engage in hands-on learning, and experience a variety of sport and recreational activities. It’s an invaluable experience for club managers aiming to enhance their expertise and drive their clubs forward.”
