In March CMAE launched their European Golf and Club Benchmarking Study, the most comprehensive club and golf benchmarking study ever undertaken in Europe.
Delivered by the independent experts at Global Golf Advisors (formerly KPMG Golf Practice), its aim will be for the first time to measure vital operational performance metrics and industry-wide trends against which clubs can benchmark their own performance.
The study will gather, analyse and report on data relating to;
- Membership absorption and attrition levels, rates and categories
- Staffing and Remuneration
- Food and Beverage
- Utilisation
- Capital Maintenance and Development
- Golf Course Maintenance
Clubs participating in the benchmarking study will contribute to the publication of an annual benchmarking report, and in recognition of your contribution, CMAE will present your club with a complimentary copy of the Annual Benchmark Survey Report (valued at €1,500).
Speaking of how benchmarking in the USA has benefited her, Traci Bichalski of Great Oaks CC said “I have all of the US benchmarking stuff, and I pull reports every month for myself, my team, and my board! I love the awesome information I get from it!! It helps more than any other tool out there… in the lines of making sure your operations are headed in the right direction financially! When I present this information to my board each month, they realize I am on the top of my game, and on top of the business!”
All responses to the survey are held in strict confidence by GGA. Individual data will not be viewed by CMAE or anyone outside of the GGA analysis team. Rather, all data will be presented in an aggregated format.
