You are invited to join the CMAE board and team for an afternoon of education and networking at the Caledonian Club, London, UK on the 24th April 2024.
We will have guest speaker Rebecca Lynd, of AM Quartex, who will explore why migration of physical archives into their digital collections platform should be considered best practice for any Club wishing to better preserve, celebrate and share their history. Referencing recent partnerships with University sports and athletics archives, the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, Rebecca will demonstrate an increasing demand to share and showcase sporting heritage online. Whether looking to futureproof, monetise, or promote your Club’s collections – ‘going digital’ is quickly becoming key to Club strategy.
Participate in the open panel of Club Managers touching on AI, Heritage, Trends and other subjects. Also hear what the European Conference will look like in September.
