Honoured CEO of one of the World’s Biggest Country Clubs to speak at CMAE Conference

The CMAE is thrilled to announce that Damon J. DiOrio, CCM, CCE, Chief Executive Officer of Desert Mountain Country Club, will be a distinguished keynote speaker at this year’s European Conference on Club Management in London on 22-24 September 2024.

Since 2003, Damon served as Chief Executive Officer of Charlotte Country Club, a 114-year-old member-owned Club, regarded for excellence as a top-ten private club in North America. He currently serves as the CEO of Desert Mountain Club, an 8,000 acre private club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Damon is one of the only Club Executives in the World to be the CEO of two different Top Ten Platinum Clubs of North America under his leadership.

Damon has been recognized with every honor accorded the very best in the profession to include the National Honor Society of the Club Management Association of America, Club Manager of the Year for North and South Carolina, and National Club Executive of the year. From serving on the USGA SE Green Section Committee to being recognized by the United States Professional Tennis Association for Club Manager of the Year in the Southeast, Damon’s vast leadership skills are well known in private Club management.
