The CMAE have announced a schedule of a further 7 Management Development Programme courses to be held online throughout 2021.
This is following the success and incredible feedback from the online courses held so far and the huge demand from those wanting to further their professional development with all MDP’s having become fully booked – some within a matter of hours.
Five more MDP part 1 courses have been scheduled to take place on 17-21 May, 16-20 August, 18-22 October, 22-26 November and the 6-10 December.
In addition, a further two MDP part 2 courses have been scheduled for 7-11 June and 1-5 November. Both dates are already fully booked. If you would like to be added to the waiting list please email [email protected]
All course brochures with booking forms can be downloaded from the CMAE website at http://www.cmaeurope.org/news-events/mdp-dates
Each course will take place over 5 days on Monday to Friday. Due to the online aspect places on each course have been limited and bookings are taken on a first come first served basis with a waiting list then formed.
The CMAE’s Management Development Programme was hosted online for the first time in November 2020 and has since seen a further 5 online courses hosted, all of which have been fully booked and have so far received a 94% delegate satisfaction rate.
The MDP was launched in 2011 and has seen over 2000 delegates attend since and 400 of those delegates have progressed to gain their Club Management Diploma (CMDip) which is now the benchmark certification in the European Club Industry and endorsed by many club leaders and employers.
The CEO of Dubai Golf, Christopher May CCM said “CMAE provides a invaluable opportunity to continue learning and developing your skills and knowledge to ensure you keep pace with changes in the market and the leisure industry. The opportunity to learn from others, from within the industry and from outside, and then share ideas within the CMAE community is essential to remain relevant and ensure you make correct decisions in your role within the industry.
It is encouraging to see the growing importance employers are now putting on the educational opportunities provided by CMAE, if you are in the golf and leisure industry, being actively involved in the CMAE educational platforms is now essential for your development.”
Marc Newey CCM, CCE, the Chief Executive at Roehampton Club also said “Roehampton Club prides itself on having a very motivated highly skilled team of staff. We set out in 2008 to recruit and retain the best staff aspiring to be top managers for a multi sports club that we could and train them up on the best management development programmes. We chose CMAE’s MDP programme and have put 15 Managers from all disciplines on the pathway. Many have passed their CM Diplomas and some are now ready to take their CCM exam. Others have chosen specialist courses such as Food and Beverage and Golf Operations. All have thoroughly enjoyed the high quality of tuition and most importantly the networking and friendships made with other Club Managers on the journey.”
