Commenting on her success Sian said “I am delighted to have achieved the diploma in club management. The MDP education pathway has been a fantastic learning experience, also attending the European Conference last year in Cascais was a brilliant experience. It’s great to have become part of a network of others who to continue to support each other as we progress in our careers. I look forward to continuing on the education pathway.
Thank you to my club Royal Porthcawl for giving me the support and wonderful opportunity to attend MDP 1 and MDP 2 and thank you to everyone who has supported me while going through the programme.”

Also commenting was CMAE’s Director of Education Torbjorn Johansson. “It gives me great pleasure to award Sian her diploma having seen her work incredibly hard during her time at MDP” he said. “The CMAE are supporters of the R&A’s women in golf charter and we hope that positive stories like this will inspire women to join and thrive in the golf club management industry”.
