CMAE recognise future industry talent

On 7th November three Bournemouth University students were awarded Top Student awards by the Club Management Association of Europe having gained the highest average in their chosen subjects.

Freddie Dean, studying BSc (Hons) Sport Management, Joseph Evans studying BSc (Hons) Sport Psychology & Coaching Sciences and Pui (Jessica) Lai studying MSc Sport Management Programme were all presented with the CMAE’s top student award.

CMAE recently renewed an affiliation agreement with Bournemouth University which will see the BSc (Hons) Sport Management course awarded accreditation by CMAE and help students advance their careers in the Club Management industry.

Commenting was CMAE CEO Torbjorn Johansson “We love to see young people getting trained and educated for a possible career in Club Management, working with Bournemouth University is very rewarding for us at CMAE. I had the pleasure of visiting the university earlier this year and see students in action, future looks bright.”

Gary Evans, Senior Academic in Sports Management at Bournemouth University also commented “We are so pleased that CMAE has awarded these prizes to the top graduating BSc and MSc students. Freddie, Joseph, and Pui are at the top of their respective classes and fully deserve their CMAE professional accolade. We are confident that Freddie, Joseph, and Pui will have successful Club and Sport Management careers. We would also like to thank James Fuller of the Parkstone Golf Club and Jon Dry of the Broadstone Golf Club for their ongoing support of our BSc and MSc Sport Management Programmes”
