CMAE Launches Certification Review Course to Support CCM Exam Preparation

The Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE) is thrilled to announce the launch of its Certification Review Course, specifically designed to support club managers in preparing for the Certified Club Manager (CCM) exam. This in-person three-day training course will take place at the prestigious Caledonian Club in London on the 31 March – 2 April 2025, providing a comprehensive review of the 10 core competencies essential to the CCM exam.

The course is recommended for managers who are within one year of eligibility for the CCM exam or those preparing to take the exam directly. It will offer an invaluable opportunity for participants to review their knowledge of the MDP/BMI content and receive guidance on writing case studies—a key component of the exam.

The course will be led by expert trainers Torbjörn Johansson, CEO of CMAE and Jason Koenigsfeld Ph.D CHE, Chief Learning Officer of the Club Management Association of America. Additional support will be provided by Julian Sansom CCM, Michael Newland CCM & David Balden CCM. Additional CCM-certified managers will also be on hand to support and train delegates.

This Certification Review Course is an invaluable step for managers aiming to achieve CCM certification. While it offers an unparalleled opportunity for guided preparation, participants should also view it as a complement to their own independent study.

“In America, the CCM Exam Review Course is a must for many managers wanting to become CCMs.” Commented Torbjorn Johansson. “Thanks to CMAA and Jason Koenigsfeld, we are now in place to offer it as well. It does raise the pass rate significantly and we will annually have this course to support incoming CCMs.”
