CMAE and GAF Denmark strengthen international ties with alliance partnership

The Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE) is proud to announce a new Alliance Partnership with GAF Denmark, the organisation representing club managers across Danish golf clubs.

This strategic partnership strengthens CMAE’s commitment to supporting professional club management across Europe and will provide GAF Denmark members with access to a wide range of CMAE membership benefits. These include significant discounts on the CMAE Management Development Programme (MDP) and the opportunity to achieve the globally recognised Certified Club Manager (CCM) certification.

Through the alliance, Danish club managers and their teams will gain enhanced access to professional education, leadership development, and a pan-European network focused on sharing best practices and driving excellence in club management.

Commenting on the partnership, Morten Lundø, General Manager, Søllerød Golfklub, said:

“GAF in Denmark is delighted to join CMAE as an Alliance Partner. The collaboration means Danish Club Managers and their teams will gain access to valuable educational resources as well as ongoing opportunities for best practice sharing with colleagues from all of Europe. Similarly, we look forward to sharing examples of some of the great work which is already taking place in Danish golf clubs.”

Torbjörn Johansson, CEO of CMAE, welcomed the announcement, adding:

“We are delighted to welcome GAF Denmark into the CMAE family. This partnership reflects the strength of collaboration and our shared commitment to raising standards in club management across Europe. Denmark has long been represented by outstanding professionals within our programmes, and this alliance creates new opportunities to support, connect, and develop the next generation of leaders in Danish golf clubs.”

The partnership reinforces CMAE’s growing network of national and regional organisations across Europe, all working together to advance education, leadership, and professional standards within the club management industry.
