MDP Part 2 is the second course of the CMAE’s Management Development Programme pathway, a series of 5 club specific education courses all designed to help delegates run clubs more successfully and help them to progress in their careers.
This latest week long course was hosted by CMAE’s Alliance Partners in Portugal, Associação dos Gestores de Golf de Portugal and supported by the Portuguese Golf Federation who all firmly believe that progressive CPD will contribute to the continuing growth and development of clubs in Portugal.
Alexandre Barroso, President of AGGP and Director of Golf at Troia Resort was a delegate on the course. “The education programme for MDP 1 and 2 has been really what I was looking for” he said.
“It is very important to be updated with the different aspects of the day to day business managing a golf course and those weeks refresh many subjects, having great presenters and on top of that sharing different visons with colleagues creating an outstanding networks.”
CMAE’s Director of Education Torbjorn Johansson commented “we had a wonderful group of delegates attending MDP 2 in Portugal, an excellent mix of experience and diversity, which really enhanced the programme. Once again Troia was an outstanding venue and our thanks go out to the AGGP and Portuguese Golf Federation for their support”
