Bournemouth University are calling out to employers to offer industrial placements for 40 weeks between July 2012 and September 2013 to students who are on the below sport management programmes:
Applied Sport Management Programmes:
BSc (Hons) Sport Management
BSc (Hons) Sport Management (Golf)
BSc (Hons) Sport Psychology & Coaching Sciences
BSc (Hons) Sport Development & Coaching Sciences
Students have sufficient skills and a level of knowledge and understanding to be employed in any of the main business functions in the Sport industry. Within a reasonable timeframe most students are able to take on a supervisory or junior management role. Students also have sufficient knowledge and understanding to enable them to work in supporting departments such as Sales, Marketing, Human Resources and Finance. In some cases the student will remain in one department throughout the placement, and in others the employer’s programme may allow for periods of work to be spent in a variety of areas.
