The CMAE is delighted to announce that experienced broadcaster and presenter Alison Walker will serve as the official European conference facilitator, guiding delegates through the event and helping maximise their overall experience.
Taking place from 25–28 October 2026 in St Andrews, Scotland, the European Conference on Club Management will bring together general managers, club executives, and industry leaders from across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond for one of the most anticipated events in the global club management calendar.
As facilitator, Walker will play a key role in shaping the flow and energy of the conference — connecting sessions, introducing speakers, and ensuring delegates remain engaged and able to extract maximum value from the programme. Her experience and presence will help create a seamless and dynamic conference environment, enhancing both learning and interaction throughout the event.
Walker brings over 20 years of experience as a sports reporter and presenter with the BBC, working across television and radio before establishing her own media company. She now works internationally with leading broadcasting organisations, including Olympic Broadcasting Services and IMG.
Her distinguished broadcasting career includes covering ten Olympic Games, two Ryder Cups, and numerous Open Golf Championships, experience that has given her a deep understanding of both elite sport and global audiences.
In addition to her broadcasting work, Walker is a highly experienced event host, having facilitated a wide range of events including awards ceremonies, conferences, business gatherings, and golf days. Known for her engaging style and ability to connect with audiences, she brings professionalism, energy, and a natural ability to guide conversations and create meaningful delegate experiences.
