Rick Bond is an experienced teacher, trainer and educationist, specialising in Management and leadership Development, Conflict Resolution, Coaching in the Workplace Environment and “Training the Trainers”

A former Head of Faculty at SRUC Elmwood (formerly Elmwood College), his management experience extends over a 20 year period and includes the management and leadership of small project teams to multi-functional teams which included resource planning. In 2004 he led the management development team of the college in achieving the title “Institute of Leadership and Management Centre of Excellence”.

He has worked extensively in Central Europe developing the training competences of the teaching staff working in partner institutions in the Baltic state countries, Russia, Bulgaria, Rumania and the Ukraine. From 2000 to 2013, he worked in China developing the teaching competence base within universities and colleges. He is currently a facilitator and tutor on the Club Managers Association of Europe management development programme.

He has a Diploma in Management Studies and a Master’s Degree in Education Management from Stirling University 2004. He is also a qualified management coach. He holds a teaching qualification and is also an External Verifier for the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). Rick is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.
