The European Club Education Foundation (ECEF) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the Ethnically Diverse Managers in Golf Bursary, a groundbreaking initiative funded by The R&A as part of its commitment to promoting greater ethnic diversity within the golf industry.
The bursaries are funded by The R&A as part of its commitment to increase the ethnic diversity of those working in the golf industry. Research commissioned by The R&A among those from ethnically diverse communities has suggested that role models are key to demonstrating that golf is open to all, not only as a participant in the sport but as a professional career opportunity.
The bursary provides a unique opportunity for individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds to take part in the Club Management Association of Europe’s (CMAE) prestigious Business Management Institute (BMI/MDP) part 1, which covers the remit of operational skills required to run a Club.
Applications for the Ethnically Diverse Managers in Golf Bursary are now being accepted, with successful candidates receiving full funding to attend the BMI course, a programme that has a proven track record in developing successful leaders within the industry.
Potential applicants should apply online using the form below
Closing date for applications is 31st May 2026
