Launched in 2011, the highly regarded Management Development Programme (MDP) delivers top class education to club managers and senior staff throughout Europe, covering all 10 core competencies of modern club management. This programme was hosted by Terre dei Consoli Golf Club and was organized by Associazione Italiana Tecnici di Golf (AITG) who are members of CMAE.

Terre dei Consoli’s General Manager Ascanio Pacelli who is also a CMAE Board member said of the programme “we are delighted by the success of the MDP in Italy to date. We ran our first Part One course in April 2014 and a follow up MDP 2 in February 2015. This week was well subscribed due to the quality of the education along with the fact that our delegates are seeing positive results back at their clubs and are spreading the positive word. Terre dei Consoli was also delighted to play host to such an important educational event.”

On the Thursday evening group dinner CMAE’s Director of Education took the opportunity to present a Club Management diploma to Italian Club Manager Simeone Diozzi from Golf Club Carezza who attained his diploma though his attendance of MDP 1 and 2 in Dublin.
