  • The average Board size at clubs is approximately 10.5 Board members.
  • 11% of clubs have reduced the size of their Board in the last five years.
  • The average number of standing sub-committees is 7.
  • 22% of clubs have reduced the number of committees in the last 5 years.
  • Clubs spend an average of 9% of gross revenue on capital maintenance annually.
  •  Six in ten clubs (61%) have encountered challenges with an aging membership or growing senior member category.
  • More than one in four (28%) clubs have experienced a decline in their total number of members in the last 5 years.
  • 72% of clubs have found it more challenging to source talented staff over the last five years.
