MDP Sport & Recreation announced for August 2023

The Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE) will host the Management Development Programme on Sport & Recreation this summer on 7-11 August.

The five day education course is aimed at Managers who want to have a wider view of sports, fitness, recreation and wellness operations. By attending this course, delegates will experience all parts of the club world when it comes to these elements.

The course will cover how to run racket sports, aquatics with junior programmes as well as other recreational sports. It will also recognise the trends within wellness and fitness. Delegates will have a thorough understanding of the history, evolution and future trends of sport and wellness to supplement or enhance a golf operation

Delegates will tour some of London’s top sports facilities during the week including the All England Lawn Tennis Club, RAC Club, Roehampton Club, Queens Club and Hurlingham Club.

At the end of the week delegates will have a thorough understanding of the history, evolution and future trends of the wellness in clubs, to make better decision for the future for their clubs and committees.

It is not obligatory for delegates to have attended one of our other MDP courses before attending this one.

“We are excited to announce our second MPD Sport & Recreation ever after the first week happened in 2022.
