CMAE is delighted to announce that they will again run their Food and Beverage Management Development Programme in Dublin from 23rd – 27th November this year.
The course is relevant to all club managers, as it provides an insight into the delivery of food and beverage services within successful clubhouse operations. It will take an in depth look at their operations from a management and control perspective. Delegates will study trends in menu and service delivery, as well as evolving legal requirements. Particular attention will be paid to the creation of successful, unique or themed events and how best to plan their marketing. The course will also enable managers to create and deliver appropriate training sessions for clubhouse staff, to ensure that service excellence is the norm at their club.
Delegates will also receive first hand kitchen experience at Dublin’s world class “Bon Appetit” Michelin starred restaurant and spend time with Augusta National’s Clubhouse Manager, Kevin Bazoda, who will present on the “F&B Club Experience”.
CMAE’s Education Policy Board Vice Chairman, James Burns, who developed the MDP – Food and Beverage course, together with Jason Koenigsfeld, Ph.D, CHE, Senior Vice President Professional Development, Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), said of the programme:
“Following the successful launch last autumn of the MDP F&B I am delighted to be bringing the course again to Dublin. This intensive week gives the club industry professional all the ingredients they need in order to develop a successful food and beverage operation back at their clubs. Today our members are much more discerning when it comes to food and beverage and if a club does not get this component right it can be very detrimental to the future success of the club. Our course presenters can help delegates ensure this success.”
The impressive presenter line up includes Steven Brown (Inn-Formation), Lisa O’Doherty (Sommelier, The K Club), Bill Sanderson (The Business Coach), Sharron Ruttledge (Inn-Formation), Stephen Bell (Bell Lane Coffee) and Peter Kirk (Jonas).
