The Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) is bringing its renowned Management Development Programme part 1 course online for the first time this November.
It comes as the 2020 autumn MDP schedule has been postponed to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The MDP 1 course focuses on club operations and is the first course on the Management Development Programme which forms the pathway to gaining the Club Management Diploma (CMDip) and the Certified Club Manager (CCM) certifications.
Two of CMAE’s MDP 1 courses which were due to take place in Dublin in March and London in August and were both fully booked have been postponed to 2021. Delegate places on the online course were in the first instance offered to those who had already booked onto a postponed MDP 1 course and to those who had registered interest. The online course is now fully booked.
“We wanted to see how much of a demand there would be for an MDP online” said CMAE Director of Education Torbjorn Johansson. “Within a few hours the course was already fully booked which is fantastic. We have held several online webinars and workshops and are looking forward to now bringing the MDP experience online and of course look forward to the day we can offer the courses in a classroom environment again.”.
If you would like to participate in a future MDP 1 online course please email [email protected] to register your interest.
