Anticipation grows as the full programme and session details are released for European Conference on Club Management

The CMAE’s European Conference on Club Management is just over 4 weeks away

The CMAE’s European Conference on Club Management is just over 4 weeks away and the association has released the conference brochure ahead of the event with full session details.

The conference takes place online from the 30th November to the 2nd December and features a dynamic line of up to 19 educational sessions, including seminars, keynotes and workshops.

Newly confirmed for the conference is a session on social media presented by Education City Golf Club’s Marketing Officer David White CMDip and the Club Manager of Terre de Consoli and participant in the 2004 Big Brother reality show in Italy, Ascanio Pacelli CCM.

Together they will present a seminar on Digital Marketing where you will hear how a club potentially could “win” in social media without having employees fully dedicated to social media marketing and why you need to invest in your platforms.

Ryder Cup Captain and World Hall of Famer José María Olazábal was also confirmed as a speaker earlier this month and will share some stories from the past but most importantly talk about his thoughts about the future of golf and the golf clubs.

Delegates attending the conference will gain vital Association and education credits which will count towards the CCM exam eligibility. 5 association credits will be awarded to those attending the conference plus 1 education credit for each hour of education.

Other keynote speakers at the conference include GGA Partners Rob Hill where he will suggest metrics for measuring leadership success in 2020 and beyond, Arnaldo Cocuzza CCM will talk about his fascinating story from being a successful club manager in Italy and President of CMAE, to then losing his job and starting his new life in the USA where he now finds himself at the exclusive Desert Mountain Club in Arizona, plus Andre Van Hall, who uses his own experiences of going blind, losing his job and getting cancer to inspire people to influence change and not be afraid of it.

The event is open to CMAE members only and members of CMAA, CMAS, CMASA, CMHK, GMA, GMANZ, AGIF and CSCM.
