The CMAE are delighted to announce a brand new Innovation Summit taking place virtually on 19th January 2023.
The summit will bring together industry leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges and share innovative ideas and strategies to build a successful and sustainable future for your club.
Calling on both industry experts and the talent within the CMAE membership, current confirmed speakers at the summit will feature Jeffrey P. McFadden CCM CCE ECM, CEO – The Union League of Philadelphia and Rob Bristow – Head of Booth Golf and Leisure. A third exciting speaker will be added to this already impressive line-up in early January.

Jeffrey P. McFadden CCM CCE ECM, CEO – The Union League of Philadelphia
Jeff has been with the Union League of Philadelphia since 1998. He is a graduate of the Hotel School at Cornell University and has dedicated his life to hospitality specializing in city clubs. Jeff worked at the famous Cosmos Club in Washington DC, then was hired at 27 years of age to be the GM of the University Club of Denver. At 30, Jeff was headhunted to lead The Union League.
Jeff and his team have led the League to a #1 City Club ranking in the U.S. for the last 12 years. Under Jeff’s innovative leadership the League has grown from six to over one hundred million dollars in top line annual revenue. The League now operates its’ Center City location as well as three country clubs and multi-dining locations for the exclusive use of its’ members. The League membership has also grown from 1,500 members to just over 4,000 and is the most sought-after private club in the Philadelphia region.

Rob Bristow – Head of Booth Golf and Leisure
Rob has vast experience of managing large scale projects for some of the UK’s largest retailers and is now using his honed skills to manage projects in the “Leisure” arena. Earlier in his career, Rob spent 13 years managing 3 businesses that he founded and operated, which has given him a really rounded view of what is expected and what is achievable, and he has a deep understanding of the importance of delivering high quality projects and unrivalled customer service.
The projects Rob currently manages are from £100k up to £15m in value, these projects are delivered with passion and dedication through the internal and external teams. We deliver a best-in-class product and BGL are seen as the go to provider for funded Golf and Leisure development.
Rob will share his extensive knowledge and experience with you and detail how innovation and an openness to evolve and change in our industry is a key factor to success.
