The European Club Education Foundation (ECEF) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the Ethnically Diverse Managers in Golf Bursary, a groundbreaking initiative funded by The R&A as part of its commitment to promoting greater ethnic diversity within the golf industry.
The bursaries are funded by The R&A as part of its commitment to increase the ethnic diversity of those working in the golf industry. Research commissioned by The R&A among those from ethnically diverse communities has suggested that role models are key to demonstrating that golf is open to all, not only as a participant in the sport but as a professional career opportunity.
The bursary provides a unique opportunity for individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds to take part in the Club Management Association of Europe’s (CMAE) prestigious Management Development Programme (MDP) part 1, which covers the remit of operational skills required to run a Club.
Applications for the Ethnically Diverse Managers in Golf Bursary are now being accepted, with successful candidates receiving full funding to attend the MDP course, a programme that has a proven track record in developing successful leaders within the industry.
