The European Club Education Foundation (ECEF) is delighted to announce Jasmine Piltz of HIFK Hockey in Finland as the recipient of the 2025 Young Manager Bursary, sponsored by former CMAE President Marc Newey, CCM CCE.
The Young Manager Bursary is awarded annually to a manager aged 30 or under, based in Europe or the Middle East, who shows exceptional promise in club management. After reviewing numerous high-quality applications, the ECEF judging panel selected Jasmine for her strong leadership potential and dedication to advancing her career in sports management.
Jasmine’s long-term ambition is to take on a senior leadership role within a golf or hockey club. The bursary will fund her attendance at a Management Development Programme (MDP) Part 1 course in 2025/26, marking the first step on the MDP Pathway, a globally recognised education programme for club management professionals.
On receiving the bursary, Jasmine said “I’m incredibly excited and honored to hear that I’ve been selected as the Young Manager winner! I’m passionate about working in sports in the future as well, and I want to continue developing my skills no matter what I do in the future professionally. I truly believe this is the perfect path to help me achieve that.
Thank you so much for this opportunity—I’m really looking forward to what lies ahead!”
ECEF CEO Torbjorn Johansson commented:
“We are thrilled to support Jasmine at this exciting stage in her career. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and clear vision for the future make her an outstanding choice for the Young Manager Bursary. This bursary isn’t just about financial support—it’s about investing in the next generation of club leaders who will shape the future of our industry.”
