Club Managers Association of Europe Leads the Way

The Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) conference took place at the beautiful H10 Andalucia Plaza in Marbella, Spain from the 18-20 November

The Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) conference took place at the beautiful H10 Andalucia Plaza in Marbella, Spain from the 18-20 November, attracting over 100 delegates from 20 different countries representing the very top echelon of the club management industry.

CMAE management training provides the competitive advantage that clubs require to ensure that they thrive and remain essential in an ever-changing society.

Cutting edge advice was provided on how to manage environmental issues, crisis management, change management and building communities.

Leaders in club management unashamedly absorb as much technical expertise as can be provided by CMAE, adopting best practice and nudging their clubs constantly towards improved member experiences.

Ross Matheson, Manager of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, summed up the process, stating “Wimbledon is synonymous with excellence and properly expect that our member services are delivered to the highest standard. The European Club Education Foundation used the conference to raise money for up to three bursaries, which will ensure that managers at clubs that are less well-funded can take part in the CMAE programme.

Bursary recipient, Stuart Finlay, of Radyr Golf Club said “The Foundation bursary makes a great deal of difference to Radyr GC, enabling me to attend a world leading training event that will assist me to help the club grow and continue to develop the skills of the staff”.
