The Club Managers Association of Europe (CMAE) accepts a responsibility to assist its members in meeting the needs of an evolving industry. To fulfill this responsibility, the CMAE invites club managers to participate in educational programmes and to make a commitment to excellence by becoming an active member of the CMAE. Only then can members help shape and strengthen the role and image of the club management profession within the industry.
Membership is open to all those who are working at any type of club (golf or other sports clubs, social clubs or city/business clubs), in a supervisory or management role. This could be as a head of department, assistant manager, trainee manager or as the General Manager, Managing Director or CEO. Student membership is also an option for those in full-time education, seeking a career in club management in the future.
Together with our Affiliate Partners, the CMAE represents over 6,500 club management professionals in over 24 countries around Europe and the Middle East.
