Woodcote Park appoints a CCM as their General Manager

Following on from the retirement of their previous Club Manager, CMAE member and Certified Club Manager Jerry Kilby CCM has taken up the role of General Manager of Woodcote Park Golf Club

Following on from the retirement of their previous Club Manager, CMAE member and Certified Club Manager Jerry Kilby CCM has taken up the role of General Manager of Woodcote Park Golf Club in Surrey.

Jerry brings with him a wealth of experience to the role with over 30 years in the golf industry seeing him take on a number of senior roles, from the Marketing Manager of the PGA, the founding Executive Director of the UK Golf Course Owners Association, the part-time CEO of the Club Managers Association of Europe, and General Manager of two very different golf clubs – Nad Al Sheba Club, Dubai and Bramley Golf Club in Surrey.

Commenting on his appointment Jerry said “I am honoured to have been invited to be the new General Manager of Woodcote Park Golf Club, a fine members’ club with a long track-record of fine golfers among their membership, some of whom are current and former European Tour professionals. I look forward to working with the members and the team of staff in the coming months and years.”

Woodcote Park Golf Club was founded in 1912 and owned by its members. The club is located between Purley and Coulsdon and is easily accessible from the M25 and Central London. The course is part parkland, part downland and measures 6,814 yards, and is one of the most challenging golf courses in Surrey.
