At the recent AGMs of CMAE Irish Region and the Irish Association of Golf Club Secretaries (IAGCS), members of both organisations decided to merge into one body and form the Irish Golf & Club Managers Association(IGCMA).
The CMAE Board of Directors is delighted that one body will now be able to represent the interests of Irish club managers, and we are also please to extend the benefits of CMAE membership to all active members of the new body, the IGCMA.
The new board is as follows:
- President: Hilary Madden, Monkstown G.C.
- Vice President: Ronan Smyth, Kilcoole G.C.
- Hon Sec/Treasurer: Jim Melody, Woodbrook G.C.
- Education Chairman: Alan Threadgold, Bray G.C.
- Membership: Donal Flinn CCM, Druids Glen G.C.
- Information & P.R: Michael Walsh CCM, Killiney G.C.
- Golf & Social: Matt Sands, Cork G.C.
- Committee: Ray Mooney, St.Stephen’s Green Hibernian Club, Dublin
