Hankley Common Golf Club is a private members club in Farnham, Surrey and host to many top golf events, including the English Amateur Championship in 2019. We are currently seeking a Golf & Membership Co-Ordinator to assist in providing a first-class experience.

The Golf & Membership Co-Ordinator will assist in providing all necessary administrative duties for the successful day to day operation of services to Members, Visitors, Guests and Societies.

You will have responsibility for the running and administration of member golf competitions, which is a major part of the role.

Duties:

Communication

  • To provide the initial welcome for Visitors, Guests and Societies as they enter the Club and a point of contact throughout their day
  • To provide a point of contact for Visiting Group organisers on the day
  • Liaise with golf day/society organisers to ensure all booking arrangements are confirmed in advance and communicated to the relevant departments
  • Assist with regular updates to the member’s website of news and general information
    Produce weekly and monthly booking sheets for internal and members use.
  • Event Planning & Co-Ordination
  • Responsible for the advanced set up and daily running of Club Competitions and external Tournaments, using Intelligent Golf
  • Assist the Assistant Secretary in advanced organisation and planning for Members and Visiting Groups
  • Assist with payments from golf societies and large events, including collection of deposits and invoicing

Sales & Marketing

  • Help develop and maintain an accurate database of visitor records for future marketing and sales
  • Assist with the promotion of the Club to external sources
  • Help with the collation of competitor analysis information

Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of Competition winners and liaise with suppliers to arrange efficient engraving of trophies and updates of honours boards
  • To deal with general telephone and email enquiries
  • Assist the membership with general administration and service requests
  • Help maintaining records of golf day and function bookings
  • Confirm visitor bookings pre-event and undertake follow up for client feedback
  • Assist with co-ordination of Members’ event bookings for golf and social functions, including draws and table plans
  • Responsible for cleanliness and presentation within your working environment

Excellent knowledge with the game of Golf and how it operates
