European Managers Taste Mediterranean Flavoured Success

The golf club industry continues to thrive across Europe as Italians and Spaniards join their British peers and attain recognition as elite club managers.

The six managers achieved the globally recognized Certified Club Manager (CCM), following five years of study and an exhausting eight hour exam.

The success of Alessandro Napoli and Cristian Fiora from Italy, Adam Walsh and Russell Stebbings from England, Andrea Faldella from Dubai and Carlos Linares Saez from Spain raises the number of Certified Club Managers in Europe to 51.

Napoli, the Director of Instruction at Canavese Golf & Country Club commented that “I don’t have an exact word to describe the sense of proudness and happiness to have achieved this amazing Certification. The milestone of CMAE is not the knowledge in general but the awareness that networking and education never stop.”

Faldella, Sales and Membership Manager at the Els Club Dubai also said “The CMAE has given me the chance to broaden my horizons and achieve new professional goals. All of this through a beautiful journey made of education and engagement with likeminded managers! The CCM is not the final goal, but just a milestone on the way.”

The General Manager of Farleigh Golf Club, Adam Walsh, added “I am absolutely delighted to have achieved the CCM qualification through the CMAE. The Management Development Programme has been extremely powerful for me, helping my day to day quality of work immensely through outstanding education whilst at the same time allowing me to build up a truly fantastic network of industry colleagues. I look forward to the future as my growth as a manager continues.”

Stebbings, General Manager of Frilford Heath Golf Club commented “I have developed some great relationships and support networks during the CCM process but most importantly it has improved me as a manager, a person and helped me improve the clubs I’ve worked in. I feel very privileged to be one of the first 50 certified club managers in Europe”.

Cristian Fiora, Senior Coach and Academy Coordinator at Golf Club Villa Paradiso added “I’ve always believed that education never stop in life and attaining CCM is the best professional decision of my life. I truly consider the CCM certification a great honour and responsibility: this is the seal of professionalism in Club industry.
You can meet many people from a lot of different countries, with the same purpose: learn from the best.

Carlos Linares, General Manager at La Romana Golf Club commented “To become part of the CCM’S growing family it is a dream come true as a result of many years of hard work.
