First opened as a hotel & golf resort in 1930, Bovey Castle is nestled in the rolling valleys of the Dartmoor National Park in Devon and is renowned for offering an indulgent, relaxing & luxurious experience for all its’ guests.

The Role:
We like to make sure that a round of golf with us, whether as a member, hotel guest or attending a corporate golf day is a great experience and it’s up to us to deliver it. With your passion for golf and your knowledge and expertise as a PGA Golf Professional you will engage with our individual visitors and members to make sure they get the most out of their visit.
As Golf Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery and developing of our golf operations including the golf retail operation and golf services including memberships, equipment, management of PGA’s Trainee’s/Professionals and golf tuition timetables.
Key skills and Experience:
The successful PGA Golf Manager will have:
- Significant previous experience as a golf professional; or experience of managing a golf facility ideally within a similar high end environment.
- PGA Qualifications.
- To be passionate about delivering the very best playing experience for our hotel guests, corporate golf days and members.
- Experience of working with a Golf Committee; with proven success in building and development relationships with members.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to manage budgets, drive revenue and increase profitability.
- To have a fresh and relevant approach to people management, creating the very best working environment for your team and in keeping with the rest of the hotel culture.

Remuneration Package:
A competitive package (c. £35k OTE) + enhanced Eden Hotel’s benefits package, commensurate with the importance and seniority of this role, will be offered.
