Bognor Regis Golf Club is located in West Sussex in the South of England. The club is a private members club, with over 800 members in total. The club is currently in the planning stages to undergo a re-development project to move locations 1.5 miles away from the current site. It is planned to build a state-of-the-art, future-proofed golf and hospitality facility, that will be the benchmark for clubs in the local area.
Overview of the role
Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager
Responsible to: General Manager
Primary Objective of F&B Manager: To lead the Front of House & Kitchen departments, driving revenue & delivering the highest level of service to all club members & guests.
Responsible for:
Food & Beverage Operations (sales & service)
Health & Safety Compliance
Training & Employment
Key Competencies
Passion for hospitality.
Ability to drive sales & revenue.
Strong communication & inter-personal skills.
Ability to lead and train teams to improve service levels.
Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises, including HACCP & food allergens.
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Demonstrate financial literacy, including staffing budgets, pricing, stock control & cash handling.
Desirable but not essential
Previous Kitchen experience
Experience in Food & Beverage Management
