Nigel was Head of the Pfizer Global Fitness Centre Network from 2004 to 2006, and General Manager of the Pfizer Sports and Social Club in Sandwich, Kent, UK from 1989 – 2006. In 2005, this Club won the prestigious “UK Club of the Year” Award from Club Mirror Magazine.
Nigel is a Founder Member of CMAE and has been a Main Board Director, Chair of the London & Home Counties (English) Region, and Inaugural Chair of the CMAE Education Policy Board, where he oversaw and developed the European CCM examination.
Nigel was National Chair of the Recreation Managers Association of Gt. Britain from 1998 – 2001, being made an Honorary Life VP in 2006.
Today Nigel is enjoying semi-retirement, while helping ECEF to develop its fundraising programme across Europe and presenting the Facilities Maintenance session in the CMAE’s Management Development Programme.
