The St Andrews Golf Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, with our inception in 1843. We are proud of our heritage having produced many of the early champions and figures in the game. By tradition, The St Andrews Golf Club is a men’s golf club with no lady members.

Today we are still a private members' club and we still feel we have something to offer the golfing world at large. We have a thriving junior section that complements our active adult section which boasts members from all corners of the globe. Medals, match-play events and other competitions are played throughout the year on the courses in St Andrews. Our clubhouse is the envy of many with its view over the 18th green of the Old Course.

The St Andrews Golf Club is now seeking to recruit a new Secretary, as a result of the impending retirement of the current holder of the position. The Secretary handles all matters affecting Members of the Club, working with the Club and Committee of Management, and seeks to ensure the very highest standards of service to Members. This role is pivotal in maintaining the connection between the Club, the Committees and the Members. As the senior permanent employee reporting to the Club Captain and Committee, responsibilities include the organisation of the day-to-day orchestration and management of the Club’s staff and facilities.
