Royal St David’s Golf Club is a private members’ club established in 1894 with a long history of upholding the traditions of the game whilst being prepared to embrace innovation and development.

Set in one of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Wales, the Club is nationally and internationally renowned as the home of one of the country’s finest traditional championship links courses. The Club regularly hosts prestigious Amateur and Professional events.

The Club is looking to recruit a dynamic Club Manager.

It is expected that applicants will have proven golf club management capability. Leading an experienced team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of all aspects of the Club, including administration, finance, course management, bar and catering.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:-

  • Sound financial and commercial acumen
  • Strong people management skills
  •  Leadership, motivation, communication skills and a high level of IT literacy
  • Knowledge of employment laws and H&S legislation
  • An appreciation of golf, the traditions of a private members’ club and a willingness to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position

The successful candidate will report to the Chairman of the Board and will work closely with the chairmen of the various sub-committees. The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage but is not essential.
