CMAE in partnership with the Scottish Golf Union and Scottish Ladies Golf Association are pleased to announce the third running of their Management development Programme on Golf Management again at the Home of St Andrews from the 7th – 11th December 2015.

CMAE in partnership with the Scottish Golf Union and Scottish Ladies Golf Association are pleased to announce the third running of their Management development Programme on Golf Management again at the Home of St Andrews from the 7th – 11th December 2015.

The course is aimed at Managers with particular responsibility for successful golf operations. By attending this course, delegates will learn to maximize their working relationship with the key personnel employed in this area of the business, including the Course Manager, Professional and Club Manager. The course covers in detail areas such as agronomy, golf shop operations, merchandising, fleet management, tournament operations and business planning to fit with the club’s overall aims and traditions. Delegates will have a thorough understanding of the history, evolution and future trends of the golf industry, to better serve their clubs and committees.

CMAE’s Director of Education Michael Braidwood said of the forth coming course “This programme has gone from strength to strength since we launched it in 2013. St Andrews is the ideal venue for a Golf Management programme as it has all of the very best golf operation components. The last two MDP Golf programmes have attracted a lot of international delegates which has added to the networking opportunities along with great international insights.”

The impressive presenter line up will come from industry experts from the governing body of Golf the R and A, senior St Andrews Links Trust Management, leading members of the Professional Golfers Association and The British and International Golf Greenkeepers’ Association along with input from business consultant Bill Sanderson.

The course is being held at the MacDonald Rusacks Hotel, which overlooks the world famous Old Course.

The cost of the course is £1,399, inclusive of 4 nights half board accommodation.
