Josef will explain how ‘Social Contracts’ are made between the club leadership and the members and how to avoid the problems created when such contracts are broken. How do we recognise the tipping points, and how can we mitigate these issues and how do we resolve the problems when they have been created.

Josef works at the Department of Education, Umeå University, Sweden, and does research on the intersection between public policy, sport policy and the organization of non-profit and membership-based club sport. He is also Visiting Professor at the Department of Cultural and Social Studies, Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, Oslo, Norway.
